Maa canteens provide simple, hygienic meals during daytime to people who cannot afford regular food outside.

  • Implemented through selected urban canteen centres.
  • Supported by State funds and Urban Local Bodies.
  • Meant mainly for daily wage earners and vulnerable groups.

  • Selected busy market areas or bus stands inside the town.
  • Exact address and timing are displayed at the canteen and municipal office.
